An urge to post about K'nann.

So for the last 2 years the Somalian rapper/dustyfoot philosopher known as K'naan has been with me. After hitting mainstream with Wavin Flag' which played alot during this last World Cup, his continues to put out good albums. Currently playing for me on repeat is the very passionate album "The Dustyfoot Philosopher" which details an insight into the struggle that K'naan had to go through in Somalia. You wanna talk about some hard times 50 Cent? Try living in gang ridden, poverty driven Somalia. There is no choice for K'naan for he was forced to make something of himself. Seeing the struggles of his people he came up with a wonderful idea. What idea is this? To write. Write about what he saw, felt, and experienced. A story develops out of his struggles and with his struggles comes his audience to become intrigued.

Just like SouljaBoy is a marketing genius, with K'naan you get lyrical genius. Spitting rhymes with grace and passion is what makes this Somalian rapper a poetic genius. I coined it, dont take it or I will sue for copyright reasons. Fleeing troubles K'naan set out with a message. To let others know how much shit is going on outside the U.S and to tell us to wake up, but truthfully he goes about it in a way that is not offensive.

I am thankful to listen to something as meaningful as I feel that "The Dustyfoot Philosopher" is. It takes a strong individual to make it through some of the things that K'naan had to go through. Major props.
