Did you hear the recent collaboration with James Blake and Chance the Rapper? If you didn't check it out. I'd like to think James Blake got successful because he was raised in South Compton. If you look at the guy you know that's not the case. But hip hop fans can agree that there's something about this guy that deserves credit. Also Chance The Rapper, who can now be grouped with styles similar to Lamar, Odd Future..
I don't know what most people say, hippie rap? Schoolboy Q, Mac Miller, you know these guys. James Blake found himself squeezed in the middle of these people, but that's cool. Anytime you have a date and want to get laid be sure you have Retrograde playing to seal the seal.
I think hippie rap is starting to gain traction and that's freeing. It's been over 2 years since I've posted, and that means I'm getting verrryyy old. So with that, I'm leaning towards the guys that I consider different.
Before you saw a lot of posts about Waka and stuff, who have their place and all, but strictly at house parties and keggers, that's about it. Now I'm really feeling Mac's new mixtape "Faces". In fact, Mac and Rick Ross are playing "Insomniak" are bumping on my shitty speakers right now. Not complaining. I'm out.
